Friday night was a wonderful experience.
Friday day was an adventure. I spent the morning wandering around Y-lots looking at all of the Hondas and clicking the panic button on JB's key ring. I found it only after careful phone coaching after she got out of class. I showed up in Lindon two hours late and, thankfully, my brother's landlord was still there to let me into his apartment. I spent the afternoon chopping and cleaning and measuring and made it back to Provo with 30 minutes to shower, get ready, turn in my stats homework, and return JB's keys.
The layout for the rest of the evening was as follows:
5:15--Arrive in Lindon with my brother and sister-in-law
6:45--Send them on an errand so that I could finish the setup
7:15--Welcome them back, along with my sister and her husband, and start the meal.
What actually ended up happening was this:
5:35--Leave Provo.
5:50--Arrive at apartment
5:55--Discover that they don't have a key for the lock that I used on my way out.
6:00--Call landlord and his two children
6:05--Start the trek back to Provo to get a key
6:25--Pick up key and check oil (?)
6:35--Leave Provo again
7:00--Arrive in Lindon, again.
8:00--Send everyone away and hope that the evening isn't at all like the day was.
In fact, the evening was utterly fabulous.
